Pad Printing

Embossing / Debossing

Embossing is when you raise a logo or other image to create a 3D graphic. This raised design is achieved by pushing a metal die into paper, card stock (or other chosen material) from underneath.

Debossing is the opposite of embossing as you are creating an indent in the material you are using. A metal die is stamped onto the front of the material you are using causing depressions that leave a (debossed) imprint of the image on your paper, card stock (or other chosen material).

Heat-Transfer Printing

Heat-transfer printing requires a type of wax-based ink ribbon to create image. The printer works by pressing the ribbon against the printing object and heating the opposite side until the ink melts off the ribbon and transfers to the object. Heat- transfer printing works well for adding or customizing prints on fabrics such as athletic uniform numbers. Because heat-transfer prints are durable, they work well when the printed object is exposed to the elements.
